LOCATION:993 Talwood Drive\, Ptbo
DESCRIPTION:The Kawartha Potters Guild will be hosting their 2026 Spring Show & Sal

8 local potters. Shoppers will also have access to the Gift Gallery which i
s open year-round. \n\n“This is an excellent chance to shop for gifts for s

ons, house warmings and birthdays,” says Anne Normand, KPG member and chair
of the sale committee. \n\nThe sale will include items such as serving pie

d volunteer to help make this sale happen. Everything from washing windows
to posting our well-known yellow lawn signs to working shifts at the sale i
tself… it’s a great time for our pottery community to come together to welc
ome the larger community into our space.” KPG has a long history of support
ing other community agencies and organizations, recently co-hosting the Emp
ty Bowls event with One City Peterborough. At the spring sale, the guild wi
ll be collecting non-perishable food items for the Kawartha Food Share food
bank.\n\nPotters will be on hand to answer questions about their work, and
shoppers can also find out more about taking classes or workshops at the g
uild. A new 6-week session of classes in both hand building and wheel throw
ing begins on May 20. (“What a great mother’s day gift idea!” says Normand.
) There are classes for every level and on every day of the week. During Ju

n Pottery Wheel Camp.\n\nSale hours are Friday 10-8, Saturday 10-5 and Sund
